All shoe sizes are listed
in Irish/UK sizes. Typically, Irish/UK sizes are one and
a half to two sizes smaller than US shoes sizes for women and
one size smaller for men (see Size Chart
for more information). However, there are often exceptions
to this "rule." If you are unsure of which size
to order, you may fax or mail us a tracing of your feet (including
both the length and width measurements of the tracings) so that
we can get a better idea of your sizing requirements.
Due to fluctuations in demand,
it is possible that items you wish to order may be out of stock.
If this is the case, you will be notified within 24 business hours of placing
your order. Generally, out of stock items can be provided
to you within 1-3 weeks. Special orders of items not
normally kept in stock require advance payment.

ONLINE ORDERING
Browse our Product
pages and click on the "Add
to Cart" button for each item you wish to order. Each
time you add an item to your shopping cart, a screen will appear
which will show you the contents of your cart. If
you are ordering shoes, please indicate the
size or color desired in the "Special Instructions"
text box when checking out if necessary. To
continue to shop, simply close the window. You may view
the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on
the "View Cart" button at the bottom of each product
page.
You can go back and forth
between the product pages until you are ready to submit the order.
When you are ready
to complete your order, you will be prompted for your credit card
and shipping information, which will be processed by PayPal.
If you have never used PayPal before, you will be prompted to
open an account with a user name and password for your protection
(for more information about PayPal visit www.paypal.com).

2. FAX ORDER
Shop the website as you would above.
Instead of submitting the order, print out a copy of the contents
of your shopping cart and fax it to us. Be sure to include
your name, address and credit card information, including
the credit card number and expiration date. Visa, MasterCard,
AMX and Discover/Novus are accepted for faxed orders.

You will receive a confirmation by either phone, email or fax within 24
business hours.

3. ORDER BY PHONE
To place an order or make an inquiry, please

4. ORDER BY MAIL
Shop the website as you would above. Instead of submitting
the order, print it out a copy of the contents of your shopping cart
and mail it to us with a check drawn on Texas banks, money order or credit card
information, including number, expiration date and name printed on
the card. There will be a $25 charge on all
returned checks. Customers who arbitrarily initiate a
credit card chargeback against Tartan Toes will be billed a $25
chargeback fee.

SALES TAX INFORMATION
We collect state and local taxes totaling 8.25% of your order

RETURN POLICY
Tartan Toes will accept returns on merchandise that is
unused or unworn for a full
refund (based on method of payment) up to 30 days after the date
of purchase. Please note that shipping
charges calculated at time of the initial order, as well as any
shipping charges incurred while returning the merchandise, will
not be refunded. If the customer originally specified the
wrong size and the time of the initial order and would like an
exchange, there will be an additional shipping charge billed to
the customer when the second pair of shoes are mailed out . When trying on shoes, please wear them
on carpeted surfaces as not to mark the soles, which would render
the items non-returnable. Tartan Toes is not liable for
hard shoes which become damaged or appear to be defective when
excessive breaking-in (e.g., binding and/or the application of
materials in attempt to soften the shoe) has been implemented
by the customer. Customers are completely liable for any
damage caused to the shoes, and it should be noted that all methods
of 'breaking' employed by the customer (other than normal dancing
in the shoes) are done at the customers' own risk.
